About Me
Hi! I’m Alyssa – the disabled diva behind Stress Less Boujee More. I’m 20 years old, autistic, and chronically ill. I live in Hertfordshire, UK, and I run this little shop from my bedroom, with a dog by my side and a hot water bottle on my back.
I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) when I was five. It’s a connective tissue disorder that affects, well, pretty much everything. I also live with PoTS, Fibromyalgia, IBS, Gastritis, Cervical Radiculopathy – and probably more that I’m still investigating. EDS is my main villain, though. It means I’m always in pain. Always exhausted. Some days, getting out of bed feels impossible.
I’ve also battled poor mental health since I was 10. Years of bullying, medical neglect, and constantly feeling misunderstood took a toll. But at 19, I was finally diagnosed as autistic. Everything suddenly made sense. The noise sensitivity, the texture issues, the social burnout, the constant feeling of being broken – it wasn’t me being “weird.” It was autism. Masked to hell and back. Now, I’m learning to unmask and be myself, fully and loudly.
This shop started with a Christmas gift from my mum: a crystal bracelet kit. I found so much peace making them. It soothed my hands and my brain. And apparently, I was really good at it. My mum said, “You could sell those.” So I did. Stress Less Boujee More was born in early 2024 when I was 19 – a therapeutic hobby turned business, full of love, softness, and sparkle.
I’ve loved crystals since I was about 14. Not just for their healing properties, but for how stupidly beautiful they are. They reminded me that if the Earth can create something that pretty, maybe I could too.
Every bracelet I make is handmade, meaningful, and created with love. I want my jewellery to make you feel something. Empowered. Seen. Safe. Whether you’re disabled, queer, or just looking for something pretty that resonates – this space is for you.

Meet Nels – Chief Vibes Officer
This is Nelson, my one-eyed French Bulldog and full-time emotional support goblin. He’s small, snorty and slightly dramatic. He supervises every order (from the comfort of a blanket), provides moral support when my beads go everywhere, and occasionally barks at nothing to keep me grounded. One eye, endless love. Nels says hi.
How It’s Made
Every piece of jewellery is handmade from real crystal beads, strung together with intention (and a bit of rage at the government). I work with 8mm crystal beads, and for the earrings, I make sure to use stainless steel earring hooks for those with sensitive ears (I feel you, girl).
